One Swiss Knife in the exact shape of your life.

Birthday Reminders

A private birthday book in one HTML file on your machine: names, dates, the small notes about who likes what.

This is not a screenshot. It's the real tool, running right here: go on, put something in it.

Forged into a knife, this tool ages with use: the blades you reach for wear soft, entries you tend keep their bloom, and the years travel with the file through every reforge.

Your nephew's birthday is the same date every single year, and every single year it takes you by surprise. Birthday Reminders keeps the calendar your affection deserves: each name, the date, and gift ideas written down in July when you actually have them, rather than groped for in a panic the night before. Thoughtfulness, it turns out, is mostly a filing problem.

What it keeps

Standing facts

In ten years

Whatever you put in (Name, Birthday and Gift ideas) stays inside the file itself. There is no account to lapse, no plan to be sunset, no migration e-mail with a deadline in it. A decade of birthday reminders entries is a decade of your own handwriting, kept in a document you can back up like any other.

If Offline.Ltd closes tomorrow, nothing on your machine notices. That isn't a marketing promise; it's simply what a file is.

Getting your data out

Export to CSV from inside the tool and open it in anything: a spreadsheet, another app, a text editor. Or keep the HTML file: it is plain, readable, and inspectable; you can open it in a text editor and see your own rows sitting there. No export queue, no "we'll e-mail you a link within 48 hours", no format that only one vendor can read.

Copy the file to a USB stick, a NAS, a folder your devices already sync. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, online or off, because a browser is the only thing it ever needed.

Questions people ask

01

How do Birthday Reminders work?

Each person gets a name, a birthday, and a gift-ideas field. Check the list at the start of the month and the surprises are yours to give rather than receive.

02

What's the gift ideas field for?

For catching ideas when they happen — your sister mentions a book in March, you write it down in March, and in September you're the sibling who listens. It's the best field in the tool.

03

Where is this birthday data kept?

Only in your browser. The tool is a single offline HTML file — no account, no cloud calendar, nothing shared with anyone. Your people's dates stay on the page, in a file you own for good.
