Terms, in plain language.
The rules of the thing, without the fog.
What you buy
You pay once. In exchange, we forge one HTML file (your Swiss Knife) from the answers you gave the Forge, and any manuals that come with the Blades on it. That's it. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, no seat count, no license server.
Licence
You receive a personal, perpetual licence to use the file we send you, on any device you own, for as long as you like. You may keep backup copies for yourself. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute the file as a product. If you want to give a copy to someone as a gift, that's what the gift-forge is for — it's a knife made for them, with their name on it.
Ownership
The data you put into your Swiss Knife (clients, entries, notes, hives, whatever it holds) is yours. It stays on your device. We can't see it and we can't reach it.
Guarantee and refunds
Thirty days, money back, one e-mail. See the guarantee page for how that works in practice. The file stays yours either way.
No warranty beyond that
Past the guarantee, the file is provided as-is. We test it, we care about it, and we'll help if something's broken — but we can't promise it'll suit every workflow on Earth. That's what the thirty days are for.
Consumer law
If you're buying from within the EU / EEA, your statutory consumer rights apply on top of everything above; nothing in these terms takes them away. Our guarantee is meant to be more generous than the legal minimum, not less.
