How do I keep track of passport and visa expiry dates?
Add each document as a row with its country and expiry date, and glance down the list before you plan anything. Remember many countries want six months of passport validity beyond your trip — a fine thing to note in the notes field.
What documents should go in it besides passports and visas?
Anything travel asks for with a date on it: residence permits, driving licences, travel insurance, vaccination certificates, the ESTA you forgot you had. If a border guard might mention it, list it.
