Answer seven short questions about how your days actually go. The Forge drafts a knife in the shape of you — which you sharpen by hand, then take home as one file that's yours forever.
How much of life are we shaping? Change it anytime — nothing's charged until you export.
A first taste of your own steel — forged to your answers, downloaded on the spot. It ages like the rest.
For one corner of life — the hobby, the habit, the small business of being you.
The full pocket: work, home, and the strange lovely rest of it. Most lives fit here.
The whole workshop — including every blade we haven’t forged yet.
FOUNDING PRICES — the first 500 knives leave this forge at the smaller number. The list price is printed beside each; that is what it returns to. Early hands are simply being paid for their trust.

P.S. — a knife makes a fine present. Forge one for someone: their name in the steel, their life in the blades, your words on first opening.
When you pay for a tool, you should own it. Not a licence, not thirty-day access — the thing itself. Your knife is one file, no account required, and there is no server farm in Virginia watching your keystrokes. There is no server at all.
So the thirty days work the other way around: thirty days, money back. One e-mail — no forms, no hoops. And the file stays yours either way: we couldn’t reach into your computer to take it back if we wanted to. That’s rather the point.
