Somebody lent you their ladder in March. It is now September. The Loaned Out log keeps the small honest list of what left your house and what came into it — who, what, when, whether it found its way home, and its condition on return, if we're honest. Friendships survive borrowed things; memories of borrowed things are another matter.

In ten years
Whatever you put in (Item, To whom, Since and Returned?) stays inside the file itself. There is no account to lapse, no plan to be sunset, no migration e-mail with a deadline in it. A decade of loaned out entries is a decade of your own handwriting, kept in a document you can back up like any other.
If Offline.Ltd closes tomorrow, nothing on your machine notices. That isn't a marketing promise; it's simply what a file is.
Getting your data out
Export to CSV from inside the tool and open it in anything: a spreadsheet, another app, a text editor. Or keep the HTML file: it is plain, readable, and inspectable; you can open it in a text editor and see your own rows sitting there. No export queue, no "we'll e-mail you a link within 48 hours", no format that only one vendor can read.
Copy the file to a USB stick, a NAS, a folder your devices already sync. It runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS, online or off, because a browser is the only thing it ever needed.
Questions people ask
How do I keep track of things I have lent to people?
Each loan gets an entry: the item, who has it, since when, and a returned tick for the happy day. There is also a field for the condition it came back in, which you may fill with as much diplomacy as you like.
Is this loan tracker private? I would rather my friends did not see it.
It is as private as a drawer. One HTML file, running offline in your browser, no account, nothing sent anywhere — your quiet ledger of ladders and casserole dishes never leaves the page.
Can I also track things I have borrowed from others?
Yes — the same fields work in both directions. An item, a person, a date, and a returned box that you, being the sort of person who keeps a list, will actually tick.
