Gratitude Jar
Relationshipsweight 1tracker · keeps what you put in
The paper version is a real jar on a real shelf, filling slowly with folded notes; this is that, without the risk of someone recycling it. The Gratitude Jar holds two things per entry — what you are grateful for, and the date — and asks nothing more of you. The pleasure is in reading the jar back on a grey afternoon.
This is not a screenshot. It's the real tool, running right here — go on, put something in it.

Questions people ask
How does a gratitude jar work?
When something good happens, however small, drop a line into the jar with the date. That is the whole practice. The compound interest comes later, when you scroll back through a year of small good things.
How often should I add to the gratitude jar?
There is no quota. Daily suits some people; others add a note only when something genuinely lands. A jar with forty honest notes beats one with four hundred dutiful ones.
Where are my gratitude entries stored?
In your browser, on your own machine — the jar is a single offline HTML file with no account and no server. Nothing you write leaves the page, and the file is yours for as long as you want it.
