Chore Board

Home & Lifeweight 1tracker · keeps what you put in

The dishwasher has been emptied by 'someone' for years, and 'someone' is developing a grievance. Chore Board puts the household's work where everyone can see it: the chore, who's on it, and whether it's done. Most domestic arguments are really bookkeeping disputes, and this is the bookkeeping.

This is not a screenshot. It's the real tool, running right here — go on, put something in it.

Questions people ask

How does the Chore Board keep things fair?
Every chore is listed with a name attached and a done-tick beside it. When the record is public and plain, 'I always do everything' becomes checkable — in both directions.
Does the Chore Board work for kids and housemates?
Both, and for the same reason: nobody argues with a board the way they argue with a person. Kids especially like ticking the box — small ceremony, real effect.
Where does the chore data live?
On the family computer, in one HTML file that runs offline in your browser. No accounts for anyone, nothing uploaded anywhere — the board stays on the page, and the file is the household's forever.

Fits your knife at weight 1. Nothing here is final — Knife follows Life. Reforging within your tier is free, forever. Add it, drop it, reforge later; the file stays yours either way.
