The Workbench

Bladesweight 3manual · 3 formats

Three builds in, the pile of receipts on the shelf has stopped confessing which project it belongs to. The Workbench keeps your projects, the materials that went into each one, and a bench ledger where every receipt knows its build. When someone asks what the bookshelf actually cost you, there's a number instead of a shrug.

This is not a screenshot. It's the real Blade, running right here — go on, put something in it. Its tabs feed each other; try one, then look at the next.

Questions people ask

How does The Workbench organise my project costs?
Each project holds its own materials, and everything rolls into one bench ledger. A receipt gets logged against its build, so cost per project falls out naturally instead of being archaeology.
Who is The Workbench for?
Woodworkers, tinkerers, fixers, garage engineers — anyone with sawdust in the keyboard and more than one project going. If your materials outnumber your memory, it's for you.
Do I need an internet connection or an account for The Workbench?
Neither. It's one HTML file that runs offline in your browser, out in the shed if that's where the work is. Nothing you log leaves the page, and the file is yours to keep forever.
