Each tool feeds into the others: your Campaign Brief shapes Actions, your Intel informs Scoring, Stakeholder profiles enrich your Deliverables, and the Communiqué Log captures your public voice over time.
Begin with the Campaign Brief. Define your statement, theory of change, and demands. Then build out your Actions and Stakeholders. The rest flows naturally.
The Data Flow
Campaign Brief milestones seed Actions. Actions flow into Impact Scoring. Top-scored actions get pushed to Sprints. Intel informs priorities. Stakeholders enrich deliverables. Completed sprint items feed the Communiqué Log. Deliver generates professional documents from live data.
File Management
EXPORT/IMPORT
Export saves all tools' state into one JSON file. Import restores everything. You can also export encrypted files with a passphrase for secure backup — nobody can read your campaign data without the passphrase. This is especially important for sensitive organizing work.
Campaign Brief
WHAT IT DOES
Your campaign's DNA. Define your campaign statement, issue area, theory of change, core demands, and three-phase structure with milestone cards. Milestones flow into Action Cards as you develop the campaign.
SNAPSHOTS
Save versioned snapshots as your strategy evolves. Compare how your approach shifted between campaign phases.
Keep your campaign statement under 30 words. If you can't, your demands may be too diffuse — or you haven't found the core leverage point yet.
Actions
Define actions with type, description, stakeholders involved, momentum shift, and effort estimate. Actions can be seeded from Campaign Brief milestones and flow into the scoring table.
Impact Scoring
Every action gets an impact score. Reach = how many people this affects or engages (1-5). Urgency = time sensitivity (1-5). Feasibility = how achievable with current resources (1-5). Risk = legal, safety, or political risk (1-5). Higher risk lowers the score. Scores 70+ are high-impact, 40–70 solid, below 40 needs rethinking.
Stakeholders
Map stakeholders with their position, leverage, vulnerability, trajectory, and communication style. Strong campaigns know every stakeholder's interests before engaging them.
Campaign Tracker
Set supporter targets, track current numbers, and add custom metrics (media hits, petition signatures, volunteer hours, etc.). Sparkline charts show your momentum over time.
Action Sprints
Plan action sprints with effort targets, action goals, and deadlines. Track progress with status markers. Pull top-scored actions directly into your sprint.
Intel Log
Log meeting notes, recon observations, media intelligence, ally reports. Tag by topic (opposition, funding, timeline) and assessment (opportunity, neutral, threat). Patterns in your intel should inform your strategy.
Precedent Analysis
Define comparable past campaigns and compare element-by-element: tactics, scale, media strategy, legal track, outcome. Learning from history positions your campaign to win.
Coalition & Network
Map organizations, elected officials, media contacts, and community leaders by power and alignment. Track their stance, engagement frequency, and key context. This is your network for building collective power.
Communiqué Log
Auto-generates communiqué notes from your Action Sprint (completed actions), Tracker (current metrics), and manual entries. Save to history to document your campaign's public narrative over time.
Campaign Deliverables
Generate polished artifacts instantly: Campaign One-Pagers, full Campaign Plans, Intel Summaries, and Health Reports. Everything auto-populates from data you've already entered.
Ask the Engine
Press ⌘K or click ✊ to open the command bar. The Engine cross-references all your campaign data — actions, intel, stakeholders, sprint status — to surface insights, risks, and recommendations instantly. All analysis runs locally in your browser.
WHAT YOU CAN ASK
"What action should we prioritize next?" — Returns top-scored actions weighted by intel feedback.
"Generate actions from intel" — Creates action cards from recurring intelligence themes.
"What are our biggest campaign risks?" — Surfaces gaps: weak scoring, unresolved threats, phase imbalance.
"Stakeholder gaps" — Finds stakeholders without complete profiles or absent from key actions.
You can also type any keyword to search across all your campaign data.
What-If Simulator
The Simulator projects your campaign 14–90 days forward under different scenarios. Pick a variable to tweak — add a high-risk action, flip a stakeholder, simulate a threat spike — and the Engine replays your entire campaign with three alternate realities: Base Case, Optimistic, and Worst Case.
HOW TO USE
Click the ⏳ button in the Oracle panel or the Deliver tab. Choose a variable (or let the Engine auto-pick the highest-leverage one), set a time period, and hit Run. Drag the timeline slider to scrub day-by-day. Watch the health meter pulse, sparklines animate, and risk/opportunity flags appear.
WHAT IT CALCULATES
Supporter growth curves from your Tracker data, impact score projections from your scoring, threat level shifts from Intel sentiment, and phase progress from Sprint velocity. Everything stays local — no servers, no data leaves your browser.
Living Strategy Canvas
The Canvas renders your entire campaign as an interactive mind-map. Actions appear as colored circles sized by effort and positioned by phase. Stakeholders float as nodes connected by influence lines. Intel pins pop up as diamond markers. Everything is draggable and the layout self-organizes.
HOW TO USE
Click the 🗺 orb (bottom-right corner, next to the Oracle). Toggle layers on/off: Actions, Stakeholders, Intel, Heat Map. Drag any node to reposition. Double-click a node to jump directly to that item in its tool tab. The Heat Map overlay highlights empty phases in red.
